Here you can learn all about me! What I am passionate about and what my days look like living for Christ as a creative and natural minded wife and mother.
Hey there! I’m Bre.
Welcome to My abiding home. This is a place where I share encouragement in discipleship, natural living, family life, wholesome foods, and some fun DIY’s. Here you will find a wife and mother who is passionate about serving God’s kingdom by being the best I can be for myself, my family, and everyone around me.

Overview of my testimony
I have been a born again daughter of Christ since 2012. God saved this broken sinner by waking me up to Him with a tragic event. I was involved in a carbon monoxide poisoning in 2012 where I survived and my boyfriend at the time, in the same room, was less fortunate than I. Though we don’t always understand why God makes certain decisions, I am blessed He chose me to live for Him. My time on Earth will not be wasted. Let me be a tool in My Redeemer’s hands to share the gospel.
I married my wonderful, Christian husband in 2016. Since then women’s ministry has slowly become a passion of mine. Sharing what that looks like for me as a young wife and mother is such a joy! In my home you can find all things natural including: doTERRA essential oils, homemade products, and wholesome from scratch food.
My supportive, loving husband and two young sons keep me very busy. One day I hope to live on some acreage in the country. I can’t wait to live on a little homestead where I can do even more with my passions and let my kids run wild.
As for now, we live in a neighborhood in a growing town on .3 acres and I am sharpening my homemaking skills that I’m constantly learning, as I patiently wait for God to open that door for my dream homestead.

How I became to be a stay at home mom
Dental assisting was my previous profession. I trusted my husband’s choice to have me quit my job in 2018 to stay at home, as I have always wanted. I was not yet pregnant but we were hopeful that I soon would be. Staying home to raise my children was one thing I knew I for sure wanted.
Within 3 months of leaving the Dental field I was pregnant with our first son, Ezra. And again, fifteen months later (almost to the day) I became pregnant with our second son, Ezekiel!
Being home to take care of our home and family is challenging but also, so much more enjoyable that I ever had hoped. I feel so blessed to be home raising my children and being the heart of my home full time.
When I quit my job, I was the main provider, financially, for our family. So, it wasn’t easy to leave where I was comfortable to step into the unknown. My husband and I both saw our faith in God grow during this process as we stepped we took the leap of faith for God to provide for us.
On paper it didn’t look like it would work for me to stay home, as our only income would be coming from a job at a coffee shop, but God provided. All I know is that we were always taken care of and it’s because we took the leap of faith and God is good to care for His people.
I believe God would honor any woman’s desire to stay home and disciple her children and serve her husband. If that is you, I pray you would take the leap of faith and trust God.
Minimalist living was a forced, learned skill at that time because we had to do what we had to in order to get by during that transition season. I am so grateful for the financially tight season because it made me appreciate everything I have so much more.

A few fun facts about me
I was a dancer growing up from age 2-19. Tap and jazz were my favorite styles.
I moved from Utah to Idaho when I was 8 years old.
If I had more spare time, or made the time to do so, I would rock climb or hike. The outdoors are my happy place.
My husband and I both almost died in 2012, before we even knew each other.
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica for 16 days, it was such a dream!
We are somewhat coffee snobs in my home.
Follow along and join me on this crazy adventure as I share how I keep up with the crazy! You can expect encouragement in discipleship, natural living, family life, and fun DIY projects along the way.
