Why make your own finger paints?
Have you ever wondered how many toxic ingredients our children come into contact with daily? I have, and I know there are a lot of things. All of these toxic ingredients affect their health and wellbeing. To ensure I’m doing what I can to protect my children, I have made it a priority to check ingredient lists and research. Let me tell you, store bought finger paints are no exception.
As I was researching finger paints, I realized just how simple it is to make your own. Making your own DIY products, like body butter or cleaning products, can sound like a lot of work but really it just takes the desire and a few minutes of your time. Once you begin DIY stuff around the house, you’ll see just how simple it can be. It’s a learned skill just like cooking or riding a bike.
Making your own finger paint is also very budget friendly. You can use cheap All Purpose Flour and sugar for this recipe to keep your cost low for supplies.
